The lower registers continue to fascinate me. The new super tenor accentuates those. The instrument is a deeper tenor sized body with a baritone neck in the cutaway style. It's sound is unique. It also has a side sound hole for more brilliant projection.
The body is myrtle wood and the top spruce. Fret board, head plate and bridge are Macasser ebony. The neck is rock maple. Tuners are Gotoh. Mine is strung with Aquila strings on on 2,3 and 4 with a Worth 1st.
Photographs and a sound bite are below. Base price of the super tenor is $995.
